pt 2 -> (2,-4)
slope = (y1-y1)/(x1-x2)
= (6 - -4)/(8-2)
= (6+4)/(6)
= 10/6
= 5/3
general equation of a line is:
(y - y1) = m * (x - x1), where m = the slope
y - 6 = 5/3 * (x - 8)
y = 5x/3 + 6 - 40/3
y = (5/3)x + (180-40)/3
y = (5/3)x + 140/3
3y = 5x + 140
finally,
