I have a two year old named AYDEN, and I'd like to stick with the whole Y theme... but I can't make up my mind on whether or not I like Jaxon or Jaxyn...

The middle name is Wyatt.

Jaxyn Wyatt
Jaxon Wyatt

Sounds like such a famous name, huh? :)

I'm not naming him Jackson becaue my name is Jill, and that'd be horrible for him growing up. "OMG JACK AND JILL."

Plus, he's going to be called Jax. I'm just curious about the formal spelling.

Neither (sorry). :( Just a trendy misspelling of the already-popular Jackson. If you want to stick with a Y theme, just use a name that actually has a Y in it.

Wyatt (LOL)
Brody
Conley
Doyle
Boyd
Finley
Flynn
Flannery
Leary
Murphy
Rory
Ryan
Malachy (separate Irish name, said mal-a-kee)
Tierney

Any of those seem more fitting with Celtic Aidan/Ayden than Jackson/Jaxyn, and you still get your Y. Hope that helps!

I like the name, but I think Jaxon is a much better spelling. Honestly, when I first saw Jaxyn with the "y", I thought you were naming a girl until I saw the "Wyatt" part. But I love the originality- that's a cooler theme than just a "y" theme.

I actually prefer Jackson which I think is very handsome but between the two I prefer Jaxon. Jaxon Wyatt does sounds very handsome. I wouldn't worry about using the Y to match your sons name. I wouldn't start a theme because you might eventually like a name that doesn't fit into it. Oh, I think Ayden and Jaxon go great together.

I prefer Jaxon because it is a more masculine spelling. The 'j' in Jaxyn looks a little more feminine to me.

Either will end up being fine but I prefer Jaxon. I know a little 9mth old with this name and he is so cute!!

I don't like the whole Jackson/Jaxyn thing - that name is too linked to the singer for me, it would be different if the singer was a nice straight forwars man but....?

I really like the name Ryan.

I have a boy called Blayke, everyone loves the spelling.

I have an unconventional spelling to my name. I've had to spell my name several times over for most people my whole life. Time waster. Catalogs, applications, forms--all wrong. Sometimes it just causes confusion but sometimes it ends up being a real problem (official documents, etc.) --like a surprise inheritance, but the relative used the normal spelling of my name in the will! Do your child a big favor and use a normal spelling, unless you're a celebrity.

I like Jaxon better than Jaxyn, but I like the regular spelling better.
