When I came upon him struggling so, I enquired, "what in heaven's name are you doing there?"
"Why," he responded, "can't you see? I'm getting into a quandary."
"Well," I said, "You'll not get into that one; it's obviously too small for you."
"Ah," he sighed, "It does seem so, perhaps if I lost some weight . . . what do you think?"
"Possibly," I said, "but evidently part of the problem, in my view of the matter, is occasioned by all that luggage you gotten into the thing. You've no room for yourself."
"Yes," he responded, "but I'm on my way to a homecoming, I must take relevant memorabilia."
"Much of present production seems to have fallen into the hands of Republican advocates of the War in Iraq," I mused, "But were I in your situation," I added helpfully, "I should go straight away to Happy Dan's Used Quandary Lot and pic up an older model with more interior space. There were some splendid quandaries in the 1960's. I got into several myself.
"Ah," he said, "Just so, there you have it. I've no idea why that had not occured to me." And he walked confidently away, luggage, quandary and all.
And this, my friend, is what a quandary is.

I am in a quandary as to whether or not I should answer this because I thought your spelling was wrong. Good thing I checked, because, as you know, your spelling is correct.
