Hahaha been there. I sent my hubby an invoice charging him for everything I do. Chef, taxi driver, cleaner, babysitter, home help, lover, referee etc.
He is now indebted to me up to his eyeballs lol.
Oh and the sick thing, yes they are the world's greatest at that. Being sick and thinking the world owes them a favour is something they have down pat.

I'm sorry luvie, this is all too common a story. I saw this happen to my mum and vowed to myself it would never happen to me. From a young age I promised myself I would stay single rather than live this way. Quite the reverse. I fell in love at 15, married (the same man) at 20 and now 25 years on we are still blissfully in love. The secret? I didn't mother him. Right from the start I expected mutual respect. We both did the shopping, cleaning, cooking, changed nappies, worked full time, looked after eachother when we were sick. I had to train him! His mother used to do everything for him, God love him! It was my way or the highway! I wasn't going to be a slave for anyone. We are partners, lovers and we love being together. I'm not his mum or his maid nor he mine.

Oh, honey, welcome to my world. I've been married 18 years. Have five children with the hubby and since my daughter's grown, it's just the four boys at home. I'm raising horrible husbands in the making. I, too, still do it all and the only time my husband notices, is when I didn't have time to wash his football jersey.
PS...mother's never get sick days. I think it's written somewhere in the man's manual that we are going to get all the sleep we need when we are dead!

My husband didn't realize all I do until he had to do it, I wrote the schedule down and when I had to do it in 5 minute incremints his opened a little. I will keep on him until he gets it or die trying

Seems that you are married to someone that has little respect for you....not all men think like that. LOL...yeah some men can be babies...and if those men could have periods...they would make it where they would be off work for a week every month.

This is all true. You can show him all that you do by taking a couple of days away and leave him with the children and the house. He'll get the picture real quick.

I think that subconsciously men realize how much we do, but sometimes they need to be reminded. Not sure how old the kids are, but would it be possible for you to take a weekend getaway? ... Even if it is just to your moms house to visit ... without the kids and the hubby? .... Let him alone with them for a couple of days so he can be reminded how much you really do.

Nobody FORCES you to do it all. Just STOP one day - make him realize everything that you do.
Men think this stuff just magically gets done on it's own. Leave for a week and just see how he handles it.

I think that's something you have to take up with your spouse. It doesn't have to be like that. You should be a team.
