I miss those good old days...
but now with caller ID... and whatnot..
kinda avoid those things..
One type of prank we used back in 2000 was, we'd call some random person and ask them if they have 'seen them' outside in a very panicked voice-- although we made sure not to be on a phone that they could trace back. It was much a scare tactic than a prank. Not sure how it usually goes, they usually respond with WTF or STFU.

Order a Pizza or Chinese food to a neighbor (make sure they are home) when the delivery guy leaves phone back the restaurant and ask where is your order, when they say they tried to deliver it say, "you were suppose to go around back" and they will try to deliver it again and they will try around back... make sure your lights are off... keep phoning them and asking were your food is... you just might get a credit!
