any idea where I can get plans/blueprints to make another. Grandpa has died and no one knows what he did with those old plans. It was made out of 1/4 inch plywood and could hold a 25 hp motor and only 1 person.

In the 60s I built one and ran a 13 hp Wizard motor on it. It would fly with a 13 hp. If a wave was higher than 6 inches it would go through it instead of over it. You had to wear a swim suit when running.

I sold mine to a young man and he put a rack on top of his small car and put the boat on the rack. That night it flooded, the boat filled up with water and crushed the top of his car in. He was sick. I felt sorry for him to.

I have the plans.

I accept contacts.

by typing into yahoo search hydroplanes i got this web site.
http://www.seawingboats.co.uk/plans_for_building.htm
and instead of asking us. you could have done the same thing. and gotten the same answer. so basicly im saying dont be lazy and have others do for you but do for yourself first. and then if all else failes then ask someone for help.
you can do. if you think you cant do. then be a reporter and tell what others do.
