I think it would have to be bedtime stories - I know my parents read to us when we were kids - especially my father - but I don't remember them singing lullabies to us.

I preferred bedtime stories... my Dad was great... he read stories in a deep, animated voice that made us laugh... our favorite was "The Goops".
