I really want to write a book,I love writing and reading! But I need some inspiration! I don't want you to give me your ideas, just tell me about something you experienced as a kid or recently. Please!!! The one the gets my attention and insipires me the most will get ten points.

Note-I will not use the exact same story you wrote,I will change the characters, and maybe the setting. So please don't answer because you think i'm going to steal your ideas or anything like that. Thanks!

I think that you write your best when the story comes from you and not someone else. I am 14 and I recently started writing a book. I've only let one person read it because I don't want anyone's suggestions. I think that if they try to help me they will just ruin the story that I already have in my head.
the one person I did let read it was very helpful, but I don't want to risk ruining my story. That is why I think you should come up with your own story. But, if you want someone to read it after you start writing, I would gladly help edit your story.

I've found that reading books by some of my favorite authors helps me to write. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer really inspired me to start the book in the first place. Harry Potter was also one of my many inspirations. Good luck with your book.

1. Go up high on a mountain, sit on a rock and look out at God's creations! 2. Walk into the woods and sit by a creek. As it bubbles and flows, watch and think! 3. Take a walk through your neighborhood and look at houses and think about who might have lived there in years past or present. 4. Visit a horse farm. Pet a horse,Rub a horses soft nose and think of visions of horses running free. 5. Visit a Zoo. Watch the wild animals as they move and tell a story about one of them. 6. Visit a Nursing Home and talk to some of the patients. Listen to them and pick a couple of their life stories to write. 7. Travel and stop in small towns. Talk to citizens. Tell their stories. 8. Visit Historical sites and write historical novels. 9. Visit a Hospital. Look in the Nursery window and write a story about the baby's life that interest you. Or go talk to someone in the hospital who has a serious illness. Why not write about them? 10. Take a dance class! Choose a dance that interest you and then write about the history of that dance, the country it started in etc! That should be enough for a start for a lot of years work!!

well at my school we do tag day, and there was the guy, and we got stuck in the same group, and we became best friends, and he was funny and made me smile. he's a real character, a half black guy, who's mom is white and his dad left before he was born. So anyways, we became really close, and he'd always help me out with stuff, and i had a tiny crush on him, but not enough to do anything. so then, there was a betrayl, i liked this other guy, and my friend went behind my back, and broke us up.so I got all mad at my friend, and i stopped talking to him, but then he said he was really sorry, and that he only did it because he loved me, and i told him i loved him too, and we're still together now.

Well, I write a bit also. I write fantasy. Read books with the same genre you want to write about. Also watch T.V with the same genre, and if it is like fantasy/sci-fi play video games. It sounds weird but that it how it worked for me. Good luck. =]

My mother saw a UFO as a child. The bus she was on picked up a little girl just before sunrise. She was hysterical and screaming about something coming up out of the water across the road. Everyone including the driver ran off the bus to look. My mother saw a cigar shaped object with three lights zoom into the sky and the three lights shot off into different directions. This happened about 42 years ago.

Why do you want to write about something that you have not experienced directly or watch someone experience? I'm telling you this from experience, you cannot write effectively about something you know absolutely nothing about. Why not draw from an interesting experience in your own life, or one of your friends lives.
God Bless!!

You need to write about what YOU experienced as a kid. What's wrong with your own experiences? You should write about what you know, not what I know. Pax-C
