You sound like a friend of mine, he was diagnosed with histoplasmosis. Do you have any other symptoms? No symptom is ever too small, I'd recommend visiting your doc again and let him/her know what's really up.
one year is a long time to be suffering like that, there must be something going on.

Tired?
In my experience nothing can really help unless you become alkaline. High acidity levels of the body make one tired.
You may want to measure the pH of saliva and urine regularly (several times a day) and eat alkaline-forming foods, more and more raw foods (vegetables, some fruit) until you are and stay alkaline. You probably will be amazed about the energy you gain and also sleep better.
Key is a pH list, where you put in the date, the time and the pH urine and pH saliva, plus what you ate and drank, how you felt etc. before the measuring.
After a few days you may tell what drives you further into the acids and what makes you alkaline. In my experience, urine and saliva both should be 7.5, always. The body may shift these at first, making one alkaline then the other until both are stabilized by enough alkaline-forming foods.
I had salads for months when I was very ill from acidity. It helped, in days I felt better and then worked it out. The body starts to clean. When you cleanse too fast (e.g. lemons cleanse fast), you may have a strong acid reaction, not good for the body. Best is to gently cleanse and always be alkaline, pH 7.5, no matter what.
Note: animal products in general make acidic! Vegertables are gentle cleansers. Frozen foods are harsh on the kidneys. Best is organic salads and steamed organic vegetables, organic potatoes in moderation with peel.
You may notice from your pH list that the emotions play an enormous role in being alkaline. Bad moods, disappointment, upsets all make acidic. Happiness helps to make alkaline. Yet, one only can make oneself happy, no other thing or person can.
Better sleep: Vitamin A before bedtime. Dinshah color, if you care for this powerful new-ancient tool, Purple - has worked wonders for me.
Wishing you to experience the miracle of alkalinity, pH saliva and urine 7.5. Would you try?

Hi there!
Synthetic medications and vitamins may help but they have their own drawbacks - some are side effects, drug interactions or drug rebound effects, etc.! According to the JAMA (Journal of American Medical Assoc.), in a blind study of 300,000 + patients, revealed that people who took synthetic vitamins were more likely to die earlier than those taking nutrition from natural food! So I suggest that you take vitamins in their natural form as food.
Fatigue is caused by the accumulation of cortisol, lactic acid, and other hormones that is staying long enough in your system that supposed to be not there. Either the body has the lack of potential to remove it or the environment could be the factor why the fatigue stays. One way of addressing this is by relaxing and taking time out from a stressful environment. Another way is addressing it with nutritional intervention, taking food that has high antioxidants and polysaccharides to truely address your condition.
Hope this could help!

#1. If you are looking to medicate or cover up the symptoms, you should by all means get any kind of medicine you can. After consuming it (what ever it is) you will find the problem you started with will have worsened. Medicine (pharmaca) is not designed to heal, it is not designed to prevent sickness. Medication is used to substitute correct body function. When taken that part of the body becomes weaker, not stronger and most people using medications to cover up symptoms didnt understand that when they started a relationship with such, it turned out to be a life long union. It doesn't surprise me for one minute the suggested drugs your doctors prescribed for you. Millions of dollars a year are spent treating symptoms and NEVER getting to the problem.
#2. There are several factors which contribute to extreme fatigue. To start off with, you have over 70 trillion cells which make up your body. Each one of those 70 trillion cells require food. Good food because once broken down the nutrients from those foods are transported to the cells to give the cells the energy to function.
#3. In the event you still feel like crap all of the time even after you have lost 40 LBS. and eat lighter and healthier, there is more to the puzzle than what you gave us here.
Lets look for a minute at the emotional situation you are in. Call it a shot in the dark, or a guess, lets see how close I can get.
Lets say that for a very long time you have been beating yourself up (internal dialogue) about your weight which is what happened after you beat your self up about something specific in your life or about your life, you were not happy with. Okay, that happened!
The problem with negative self talk is that it will "blow" the thyroid as it is the emotional gland. When long standing unresolved emotional stress has not been dealt with it will overwork that part of the body. Being that, that is the case, here are the other things you may also suffer with.
a). Cold hands and feet.
b) internal trembling
c). sore sholders
d). making mountains out of molehills.
e). headachs in the forehead
f) heart palpitations
g). slow digestion
h) insomnia
i). feelings of hopeless, helpless and all alone.
j) lack of drive and ambition
k) fears and phobias.
Was there a few of your symptoms mentioned here?
If yes, keep reading.
#3. For every person I have worked with who HAD many of those conditions, they did get their thyroid tested and the test came back normal. Interesting but predictable because the test don't show anything until the cells are in a diseased state.
There is a huge bridge between disease and the symptoms of imbalance, do you agree?
#4. A wholistic approch to the healing the body, bringing it into balance is the answer. Its about eating live food which nourishes the cells because the cells, all 70 trillion of them all ready know what to do, they just need the fuel to do it and that is called regeneration.
The ability the body has to heal itself. Just like when you get a cut, the body knows how to heal itself and it just does it.
#5. I am also going to assum that your Dr. didnt spend much time with you, explaining or teaching you about your emotional wellness. Drugs and medications are not the answer.
I get from what you said " HELP" that you really mean it.
It is the pits to suffer endless days and weeks and months, I know I was there, way back when.
Until I took responsibility for my own health there were never any solutions to the problem. I was sick for a very long time with one thing or another and became fed up and sick and tired or being sick and tired.
#6. If you are really ready to have the answers and the gift of wellness for yourself you can email me. I will gladly share with you safe, satisfying wonderful directions to investigate, which I'm sure by now you are curious about.
#7. Over the last several years I have been to busy to update the website I created however, my email address is listed on it. http://www.emotionalrealities.com/

These energy drinks give you some instant but not lasting energy.
An energy multivitamin every day might help.

please see your doctor - you may need to see an endocrinologist - meds may be making you sleepy - you may have deficiencies nutritionally that may cause you to be tired. don't tell your psyciatrist this - they'll assume it's mental but it might not be at all.
were you trying to lose weight? or not - if not you may be diabetic. or something.
