Having been critical of the British,French etc for colonisation a look at history tells us that it is hypocrisy for the Americans to take this stance. Having done their best to destroy the Native American people and take their land they then moved on and annexed Hawaii. Kicked the Spanish out of the Philippines and moved in. Interfered in South America by overturning elected governments because they didn't like their democratic ideas. Please no lectures on colonisation from Americans.

Since the majority of people in the US won't actually serve in the armed services, the army will soon grow too tired and depleted to continue at its current pace.

The answer is no. We are not doing the colonizing, rather, we are being colonized by hordes of illegal aliens from Mexico. As the presdiente of Mexico recently said, "Wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico!"
