My two dolls. Hear me out.
My childhood was NOT a happy one. I question the meaning for me being born. Trust me, I would not wish my unhappy childhood on anyone. But, there were some decent moments inmy life that made me happy, and, when I was about 9 or 10, my mom bought me a My Child Doll. They came out a year or so after the Gabbage Patch dolls, which I never liked. The My Child Dolls had hair that looked authentic (it is what woman put in their hair, like a very good weave) and they had them in African-American, Caucasian, and I think Asian.
I had a "girl" and named her Malinda. That was for my birthday. At Christmas at the end of the year, I had another "girl", and named her Victoria.
I am now 30 years old and I still have them. In fact, in my will, I will have them buried with me.
Since they mean more to me than any other materialistic things and made me happy through all the sh*t I have been through, why can't I have them with me before they close the casket? Hell, it is my funeral and that is my wish. Those are my prize possessions.

I have a few too. But the top five that I'd want to try and save if the house was burning-
1) My Mother's ashes
2) My dog's ashes
3) Family photos
4) Book: "Blackbird Singing", autographed by Paul McCartney
5) Book: "Fifty Years Adrift", autographed by George Harrison
I would mention whomever is in the house... But people and pets shouldn't be considered possessions... Correct?

Besides my diploma, no prized possessions...only prized accomplishments.
Other than that, I wouln't consider the people in my life as prizes. Only privileges.

My trumpet and my CD collection. My trumpet because I have made so much music on it and the many memories it carries all the way back to 6th grade. And, my CD collection because of all the memories I get listening to the millions of different artists and genres I have.

My guitar (it's my first and my dad gave it to me...considering he is no longer with us, it's most prized).
Next would be my music collection. I have a ridiculously large amount of CDs....thousands.
And then it would be anything creative I have ever made or anybody has made for me (which is a lot).
