What defines a scene is one particular time and place where something happens. Generally, for most authors, every chapter is a different scene in their book. Yes, it is a good idea to outline your scenes. It helps you to focus when you write. If it helps you, think of it like a movie or a play. Each scene takes place someplace different or at a different time. Start your outline by making a list and then filling in details. Pax-C
