Here are two possibilities that I'd like to know if Bush supporters have considered or not:
1. Perhaps the reason liberals oppose everything Bush does so strongly is that they're tired of the President of the United States and his administration accusing them of giving aid and comfort to, and emboldening, the enemy, just because they didn't jump on his bloodthirsty little bandwagon.
2. Perhaps the reason Dems voted to authorize force if necessary and now oppose the war is because when they made that vote, they assumed that the Commander-in-Chief would use wisdom and discretion in managing this war, and not let it turn into the biggest fiasco in American history.
Possible?

A P: Could you please explain how your rant answered my question, since I didn't mention an election in my question? Thanks.

1 Wrapping yourself in the flag is a great way to win an argument.
2 This point is one that dismays us Republicans who bought into it too so don't feel bad. You're not alone there.
2a. I missed the part about the elections. maybe it was subliminal or at a pitch only dogs heard

Someone has to take care of the terrorists since no one in the Clintoon administration had the balls to do. Clintoon and his drones had 8 solid years to do something. In the meantime we had the first bombing of the world trade center in 1993, then we had the attack on the USS Cole. What was Clintoon waiting for? I think possibly he was waiting for the cigar to pop out of Monica's cooch, so he could suck on it some more. Clintoon was a joke! And you people say President Bush is stupid? We would also think the C.I.C. in the 1990's(Clintoon) would use discretion in bringing a 20 year old intern into the Oval Office of the White House...that didn't happen either, did it?

When your main enemy quoted Democratic talking points and the Democrats main concern is not the safety of America but the "civil rights" of the enemy there is a thourght that they are giving aid and comfort.
If they had any doubts about the resolution they should not have voted for it, and also not for the one passed in the 90s calling for the removal of Saddam and making that a national policy goal of the US. Signed by William J clinton.

1. Liberals hate GWB because he beat them in two elections, and they feel that they alone should wield power in this country. The democrat party has been taken over by far-left hate mongers who smear anyone who dares to disagree with them.
2. "Biggest fiasco in American history"? Get real. While I don't agree with the tactics taken in Iraq myself, doing nothing about islamic terrorism is not an option. We can't stick our heads in the sand and pretend there isn't a problem.
3. The left constantly bashes the Iraq policy, but short of surrendering and allowing millions of innocent people to be slaughtered, I NEVER hear any of them say what their strategy would be. You have a solution? Let's hear it!
The sad fact is that the left loves the Iraq war because they think it helps them with the most important thing in the world to them; a political advantage. They gave their lemmings in the media to spread their talking points and have managed to convince millions that the USA is the bad guy here.
EVERYTHING the left does is for political reasons. Period.

Has it occurred to non-Bush supporters to stop whining about having lost two elections?
Get over it already - sheesh, it's not that long until you can vote again anyway.
And then if a Democrat is elected all will be puppy dogs and butterflies again...
Right?
**Sure I'll explain: You put forward two possibilities under the guise of asking a serious question. Then when I bothered to read the two possibilities I just see a lot of recycled party politics rhetoric against Republicans and the placing of Democrats on a high-chair.
You aren't asking a serious question - just looking for other Democrats to give you a virtual high-five.
I was simply responding to your question by answering it with a: I'll guess we'll see when a Democrat is next elected into office and magically solves all the problems right?
I think the next election is pretty relevant to anyone wrapped up in two-party politics.
You have no idea what a 'rant' is. I'll go off on a rant if you really want me to though.

No. Why would any one consider that rubbish.
1.They started the opposition before anyone said they aided and emboldened the enemy. That is why it was said.
2.They knew full well what they were voting for and were for it. They knew what Saddam was and they themselves had said the same things.

2. No, you don't "test the water" in respect to war.
3. Maybe some want us to lose in Iraq so that the liberals can regain control on the white house in 08. victory at any price

Really, the only question I ask myself is "Why haven't we had any more bombings since 9/11, when England (screaming liberal central) has been beset by them?" And the answer is always the same "Because of the policies of our President, George W. Bush".

It's not just possible, it's FACT.
Bush supporters want everyone to run in lockstep with their favorite Fuhrer. So anyone who is against their little imperialistic, religious crusade, is labeled as the "enemy" and worthy of ridicule and rhetoric.
The sad thing is, is that so many Bush supporters out there are helping FURTHER the terrorists' goals than diminishing them.
And they don't even know that.
