well it depends, there are definatlee guys who try to stereotype themselves, an fit in the stereotypical "gay" image, sorta liek any other person trying to stereotype themselves, there are people who are into it, an there are people who hate when guys do that. other guys have naturally high voices, straight or gay, ive known several straight guys myself, who were defiantly straight but had effeminate voices. other guys it might be in their genetic make up, along weth what makes them gay, we reallay dont know, but everee one is different an i doubt there is one answer ♥ soem of my friends say my voice is rather effeminate, especially when i laugh or scream *blush* uh, yah but im not sure, cuase my voice is stell kinda young, plus my dad has a higher voice an i take after hem a lot. im bisexual by the way ♥

ps: just because im gay doesnt mean im comfortable talking openly about my sex life, im just liek aneyone else, an it embaresses me

What a STUPID freakin' question!

Get over yourself, people! NOT ALL GAY PEOPLE TALK LIKE THAT! I guess it's 'trendy" to talk in a lisp, and walk like a girl but, I sure as hell don't do that, and never will.

The best gay men actually act straight!

Fact! >_>b

They do it on purpose to let other gay guys know that they're gay. Trust me I lived in prison for years, there's a few things those guys do to signal what they're into and that's one of them.

You are talking about effeminates. Those who try to look & talk like women. Not all gay men are like that.

No,it's due to the androgen/estrogen balance, which is different from the heterosexual's. Males have higher voices and females lower than us.

They do it on purpose. Just like they try to dress and act more feminine.
