My life has been bad lately so I really have to think about this one.
The insurance is paying for my van's body work after I pay the $1000 deductible.
I paid for the $900 repair for the brakes and transmission that were going out.
My husband was in the hospital for 5 days and they found out nothing was wrong with him, YEAH
and we just had our 29th wedding anniversary.
My daughter split up with her husband (married 9 monthes) and after 3 days they decided they couldn't live without each other and that they just need to grow up and treat each other nicer.
The grass is growing slower this time of the year so I don't have to mow every 5 days.
The weather is becoming cooler here, not 90 degrees anymore.
I just ate ice cream, Milky Way bar, and some glazed nuts, and they were all delicious. Now I can't get enough water.

There was a young lady who fell through a seive
She looked up above and thought "what a spiv"
But the spiv looked back down
And gave her a frown
And said "want to buy this book called Think Positive?".
And for a really positive ending...
Two batteries walked into a bar, one ordered a bottle of Electric Beer, the other switched to a light drink. The barman said, sorry guys, the prices have gone up, so don't be shocked, they're our current charges!

I walked a total of 610 steps today! That is fantastic and positive cos up to 13th August if I did a dozen steps all day I was pushing it. On 13th August I had a hip AND knee replaced - yes, both at the same time! Guess what, I am going in hospital again in November to have the same thing done to my other leg! I'm positive that when I have had that done I will be up for a dance at Christmas! lol:-D

I will praise our two wonderful house cats. Johann and Little Scooter, who take such good care of me. Scooter was rolling on the kitchen floor a few minutes ago while I was eating some meatloaf, cole slaw and stuffing (with sage), and I knew she wanted some of it, so I set it on the floor beside her and made her evening. Old Johann loves just to be with me. They keep me good company. I don't know where I got two such wonderful animal friends. My loving housecats! Here in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A., the whole town is back in 1953. Everything is quiet right now. An occasional car glides by silently and the forecast for tomorrow is beautiful autumn weather. Right now it is 61°F cool degress under partly cloudy night skies. Tomorrow I will put on my sneakers and hike on foot around the whole neighborhood. It takes me 50 minutes and I do it every morning to stay in shape. Later I will hop on my 12-speed and go for a two-hour ride to tone back and arms and general body balance. I hope this little answer I have typed here will qualify as something positive to put you in perspective to whatever is bothering you or taking your energy. Be well and breathe, Sunshine. It isn't forever. Everything changes. By endurance, we conquer! Best to you from Chris!

Well, you can't kick start a dead horse... But since we're all feeling so negative, and since there is so much negativity to be avoided, surely that's a positive! At least we don't thrive on it ;-)

Life is too short to care what people think you should do or say, But just living your life to the fullest is just not enough! Worship your Creator and you'll do just fine! Keep your head up! Hope you feel better!

my daughter is 11 next week. a huge milestone. she was born 1lb 6oz and developed meningitis before her 2nd birthday. she is off to senior school next year and is the brightest girl in her class. she is an intelligent pretty girl with a good sensible ambitious head on her shoulders. no lasting effects from illness. how lucky is that?
really just proof that good news can come from having a premature baby and neo-natal staff are worth their weight in gold.
(thats my positive good news anyway)
