only if it were really necessary. denouncing religion even at gunpoint seems a little too spiteful to me.

Much of the Muslim religion is good. It parallels the Hebrew Talmud and Christian religion; however, the section on Jihad is a disaster and it should never have been written. Muhammed added this section later on because he felt that the Arabs needed something to stimulate their desire for shedding blood. Fact, not fiction. Would I turn Muslim? No way. I don't like getting on the floor (even with a rug) and pray. I pray to God any time during the day or night and I don't use a rug or face toward Mecca. I don't pray to Messengers of God but rather to God Himself.

Hopefully that video wakes everyone up to what the Islamists really want. This is Osama Bin Laden's "Mein Kampf." If US troops pulled out of Iraq, it would make no difference. If US troops pulled up camp from Saudi soil, it would make no difference. If we all stopped supporting Israel, it wouldn't matter. They are reviving the Crusades all over again and they won't stop until they're all dead or converted to kneel towards Mecca five times a day.
As for me, no way in hell I'm converting.

I am an Agnostic and would accept the faith to humor him (if it saves my familie's life)....Most religious devotees do not truly follow their religions anyway so I would just see it as the church's names changing a little and the little crosses and stuff would change a little.....Actually the christian church would not have much to do different since Muslims and Christians follow the same God written about by Abraham. The difference is Muslims believe Jesus to be a Profit of God as was Mohamed (according to them) they do not think Mohamed or Jesus were the son of God or God incarnate.

Never! I'm a child of the Enlightenment whereas I believe Islam represents the dark ages that we came out of.

I just can't see myself ever wanting to do that, and I don't think that anyone should be forced into turning to a religion that they don't believe in or want any part of. That is part of living in a "free world" you get to make your own choices and don't have to follow what some power hungry man wants us to do.
I don't think any of us who are used to this type of life would want to have to live that way.

Nah... I like my freedoms. I think he is a great guy and all, but Religion shouldn't be forced on people. He would have advanced Islam better if he came to the USA before he became a Freedom Fighter (or terrorist), and taught North Americans about the love, peace, beauty and friendship between the Believer, Fellow Believers and Allah.
