Teddy Roosevelt. He was more about freedom and individualism than most presidents.
Besides him, I'd choose Thomas Jefferson, perhaps, or Washington.

No one president has represented my idea of the United States. By the time they get to that level they have had to compromise too much. Reagan did a good job of articulating and communicating American ideals in most areas, and probably came the closest.

Ronald Reagan. He and Margaret Thatcher won the Cold War. He was honest, humble, and optimistic. He rescued America from the longest sustained inflation in history. He paved the way for profound economic expansion.

Ronald Reagan. He was kool, calm and collected. Nancy had class and they had domestics but it never involved the national security. He even got shot and we all felt so at ease the way it was handled. (I was just a kid then...) She never stole the China and he was an extraordinary diplomat. They made US feel secure during some stuff that most would go nuts over.
That is why I pick them. You never get just one with the deal. Thank you.
