my best friend is talking to a man we work with and they text all day and night but only see each other a couple times he claims he is seperated but stays with her for the children what are signs of a married man besides the above

3. His calls are irregular or are at set times.

5. He is secretive about where he lives or who his roommate may be.
6. You never get a chance to meet his friends or family.
7. Does he lie or give excuses often?
8. Asks you not to wear perfume.

Busy on weekends birthdays holidays, weekends especially Sundays when families really spend time together. Your friend needs to get away from this man sounds like he's using her for a fling and that's it. That's my take. Anyone who says I'm staying for the children is lying or not ready to leave the marriage she needs to really think about who she's really affecting escpecially these children. If she goes any further she could end up being a marriage wrecker and that is no way to start a relationship those poor children.

Sounds like this guy wants best of both worlds ,the fact he say`s he stays for the kids is crap and this proves he has a partner ,so your friend needs to back off as she will only end up used and pushed aside.
The only way is for him to be honest and tell her if is still married ,divorced or what ever ,As he will say any thing to deny he is married or in a relationship.

He is separated and stays for the kids. Gee how original. Isn't free to go out any night of the week. Has the kids every weekend. Doesn't talk on the phone, only text.

Well any married man will make an excuse as long as he's getting what he wants and without worrying about leaving his family. But tell her that if he really wanted to leave he would but is making excuses just to have her on teh side. I should know because I have done it before myself. A maried man will tell a woman anything she wants to hear just so he can have her around till he gets tired of her.

What other signs besides the above do you need? Separated but still with her says married unless it's convenient to pretend it's something else. I don't get this separation. If your still living with someone how the hell are you separate? Sounds more like an unhappy MARRIAGE to me.

Even if he is seperated he is living with his wife. They arent divorced yet. Tell your friend to find a real man that has the balls to divorce her before starting something else with another woman. Sounds like the typical "has his cake and eats it too!" scenario.

haha .. I can't stay much because I'm living with & have a baby with a "married" man .. as of right now, they are going through a divorce though .. should be finalized next week, have been with him for 2+ years! =)
But my friend dated a guy that lived with his wife and said they were seperated .. "he was just living there to help with the kids" .. bullcrap, they were JUST married, still freakin' honeymooning .. this guy NEVER had any intention of leaving his wife .. even had my friend come over while his wife was at work but she had to be gone by 6 .. and this friend fell for it, so dumb!

If she san call him at anytime... Or if she has certain times she can call...
Also... he is obviously not going to leave his wife. He is using your friend for sex.
Even if he did leave his wife, why would she want to be with him if he is cheating on his wife.. Eventually , she would be the one sitting at home while he is out with someone else.. There is always going to be another woman in his life...
I hope she has luck..
and doesnt get to hurt.
