I'm thinking maybe he might be just a little tad bit on the biased side.

Ha, to balance out the effect of Mark May never picking Notre Dame. A lot of those picks might not necessarily represent the analyst's actual opinion so much as they're included for entertainment value a la Lee Corso. It's just like in American Idol where Simon would rip on the performers he liked because he knew the crowd would side against him.
Anyway, as I was saying, Lou Holtz almost always picks the teams he coached for (Notre Dame, Arkansas, South Carolina). Should we expect anything less from someone who poured his heart and soul into each of these places? Besides, as he once famously stated, when you go into Notre Dame, you change it; Notre Dame changes you. As I said, an equally valid question would be why does Mark May always pick against Notre Dame? Can't he give the Irish a chance?
C'mon, there's a reason these two are on TV side-by-side: entertainment value.

Because he's a moron who's also a homer. He also talks too damn fast, as if we'll think that what he's saying is intelligent if it flies by that fast.
