USA Today has them but the Yahoo crew was much more entertaining.

Those message boards were the best on the internet. I doubt they reopen the boards. They closed down back in December and it's crazy to think it would take them a year to clean up the trolls - although the trolls were their bread and butter.

I doubt it. Just look at all the trolls and ranters posing as questioners on the Answers feature. Look at all the "flamer" responses to legitimate questions. It was much worse on those message boards. My personal old-time favorite was the thread which began with the first news reports on September 11, 2001. About 400 or so posts into the thread some guy wanted to know what the effect was on the markets after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Buildings are falling down, people are dying by the thousands and all he worried about was his 401-K.

Hopefully not the way they were. It was all about trolling, flaming and name-calling. There was not much debate or thinking going on there...mostly hate.
