Ouran High School Host Club - basically about a a "special student" (not rich just smart) goes to this extremely rich school and meets the Host Club which spend their time entertaining other high school girls that have time. its a great series with lots of different characters with their each own problems and quirks
Love Hina - A boy, after failing his college entrance exams multiple times is put in charge of the Hina Inn his grandma runs. When he gets their it turns out that the Hina Inn is now an all girls dormitory and hot springs. The boy is also waiting for the 1 girl (even though he is considered very nerdy and unpopular with girls) he made a promise to when he was very young that they would get into Tokyo U together.
many more, but those 2 i consider the greatest shoujo (Ouran High School Host Club) and seinen/shonen (Love Hina) anime's ever

Fruits Basket: Tohru learns the Sohma family curse after she begins living with her classmate and his (male) cousin. It's pretty cute, and the story focuses around the chinese zodiac.
DNAngel:Dark and Daisuke share a body, and the anime's pretty much about the two of them stealing items inder hte name of Phantom Thief, and also their love lives. REALLY GOOD GRAPHICS. You should at LEAST watch an ep or two.
Ouran High School Host Club: Haruhi is forced to work off her debt when she breaks an expensive vase at the host club. Unfortunately, the members of the club think she's a guy, so tey don't have seconds thoughts about her becoming a host. Once they find out her secret, though, they'd do ANYHING to protect it.

i know a great one!!! its called romeo x juliet, it IS an anime too.....its awesum!!! or u can try kaze no stigma... or uuuum...school days .....or karin.....orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummm tsukuyomi moon phase ......orrrrrrr *sighs* ill answer again if i find another one or remember sum okay? ill look sum up 4 u so....i hope u end up liking one of them. i HIGHLY recommend romeo x juliet, u HAVE to watch just the 1st episode and u'll get HOOKED!!!
