Well, I'm almost 18 & I've been under stress due to a recent and sad move & I also have 2 cysts that the doctors know about. I'm going to the Gyn. next week & They will most likely do an ultrasound. What kinds will the most likely be doing? I couple yrs. ago I had bulimia due to a death in the family (which no one knows about me throwing up) & lost 30 pounds, which was before my very 1st gyn. appoint. I went due to developing cysts that was found at the ER. They stuck a tube like shape & said I was fine. Will they do a vaginal ultrasound or will they do an abdomial ultrasound? I only did it for about a yr. or so. and had my period regularly. I started up again a few weeks ago & quit due to finding terrible effects about it on the internet. Will they find out I made myself throw up if they do an abdomianl ultrasound?she need to know whats going on down there & not in my stomach, right?well i just don't what anyone to find out i was bulimac! Will they tell my mom since i'm months from 18

They wont know for a pelvic ultrasound about your bulimia, but your parents should know.

The physician wont tell her even if you tell him or her or gets to know about your bulimia, but you are of age and you have to be the one to tell them. They will be startled but they will be thinking on the way to help you, they will try to find it out.

Find a healthier way to cope with your stress, get a hobby you like...and remember: it will hurt you if you let meals be a problem in your life.

Dont feel guilty because you ate, and eat with company so you simply wont be able to have a feast moment. It has advantages, you can share and make meals a pleasant moment.

They'll do one on your overies not your stomach,, It will be abdominal.. Lower abdomin.. I had one recently.
They make you drink ALOT of water so that you have a full bladder and then they're pressing around..man it makes you gotta pee so bad! LOL I turn 18 in December. I woulnd't stress too much about it, Im sure they wont notice that, You should tell your mom though, If you arn't doing it anymore just tell your mom that you used to be but stopped a while back.
Good luck!
