I'm on depo and that's COMPLETELY normal. Eventually, with the 3rd of if you're lucky, the 2nd shot will make them completely go away. It may mess with when your suppose to start. So, I'd keep stuff on your until you know that you're not goin' to have a period any more, which should be with the 2nd or 3rd shot, as mentioned above. If you want to talk more on this subject, feel free to contact me through mail or mesenger by going to my profile.

I went on this as my first form of birth control 4 years ago. I was on it for 2 years. First four months, i bled non-stop. After that, no period. PERIOD. I thought it was awesome at first, but then i started getting really sick. I talked to my doctor about that, and the fact that I had researched that it could make some women infirtile...they told me i was too young to worry about kids....i was 18. I wasnt talking about wanting to get pregnant right then, but someone who had taken the shot told me it took her 5 years to get pregnant after she went off the shot. I got off of depo, and i waited for 3 months for my period. Nothing. So I got on the pill to try to regulate things....nothing for over a year. I have been with the same guy for 2 years and we do not use condoms and i had been off of b/c for a year.....not even one pregnancy scare. Now i am worried It has had some adverse effect on me. I will be rather upset if it did......theres my horror story. I know its inconvenient, but if you dont want to have to worry about any of these things, switch b/c.......good luck

That is very normal there is no need to be alarmed. You may not ever have one while on Depo or you may just spot instead of a period. Every girl/woman is different.

Typical of depo.
You may spot at any time or have a period at any time on depo as well. Or you may never get a period.
Please research the shot before getting it again:

Google "depo provera lawsuit" as well.

Depoprovera usually results in a lack of periods for up to the time it stays in your system (approx 6 months), so don't worry about it at all and enjoy a break from menstruation.
