We live on a farm and my husband had our neighbors escaped livestock in our barn, I called our neighbor to tell him he could come and get them. About 3 minutes after this his wife called back and grilled me on who I was. I was pissed! We were nice enough to care for their escaped animals and she calls me like I am screwing her husband. I told my hubby "that ***** needs to stay on her farm and out of my face, and that he needs to deal with the neighbor from now on."
Was I right to be mad and should I tell the neighbor to keep his wife on her side of the fence?

Don't blame you in the least, the difference between you and I is I would have told her what you said about taking care of her animals and not deserving the 3rd degree. Then I would have told her she could catch her own damn animals the next time and keep them off my land.
Rudeness just seems to be all some people understand. If she's that insecure about her husband she should have waited to see what the call was about or come with him to retrieve the animals.

Since you don't know your neighbors, then you don't know their history. You don't know if he's had numerous affairs, or if he has hurt her throughout their marriage. There may be a reason she jumped to conclusions. She may just be jealous, but with that reaction I doubt if it is simple.

I think most people would be upset if she called them and got in their face for no good reason that they could see.Yes, I think your husband did a fine thing by putting the escaped animals in your barn, but if it happens again then he needs to call the neighbor and let them know. You don't need the drama that permeates their life.

No you were not right to be mad. You fell right into her trap. Now she has a reason to hate you.

When it comes to crazy women, all they need is the slightest reason.

Do something nice for her. See if she would want to get to know you better. No matter how much of a phsyco she is, kill her with niceness.

I trust you could make it fun :)

Jealous wives do not irritate me. On the contrary, I wish for my future-wife to be very jealous of me. That would make me feel more secure.

If that ever happens again tell her you have no interest in her husband. People like that have some personality issues. If you make it seem like your upset then she will really think your out to screw her husband...or you could just kick her a s s

What the hell is her problem? I'm glad I'm not you I would have let the cattle go back on the road and gone over and socked her one just for the hell of it.

Her husband is probably cheating on her and unfortunately you happened to walk straight into it.
