Those three species are so incredibly different from eachother, you shouldn't be asking this question. Do your own research.

Not a hamster! They are known biters and are not very friendly. If you like the idea of a small pet rodent- get a Guinea Pig. They are sweet and affectionate- and do not bite. No one can tell you whether you should get a cat or a dog. Your preference and your life-style will answer that. Do you have time to walk a dog every day? Dogs need a lot of attention and training. Cats are a better pet choice for people who live busy lives. They do not crave as much attention as dogs do. They can actually be left at home for a weekend, with enough food and water, etc., if you wanted to take a short trip. You could never do that with a dog. On the other hand- dogs are better if you live alone, and need the security of having an animal that will bark if it hears something. In fact, criminals who commit crimes like breaking and entering, will avoid houses that have a barking dog on guard duty. There are many variables with both cats and dogs. It is really how you live that needs to determine what kind of pet is best suited for you.

If you had all 3, Kyle, you would have a three-ring circus in your house. The cat would be trying to get the hamster, the dog would be chasing the cat, and if the hamster managed to get out--well, I shiver to consider.
What are you looking for in a pet? Hamsters are cute to watch, but not very cuddly or reactive to your actions or speech.
The cat can be lots of fun, but he/she will have a mind of their own. If they want down and you're not letting them, they swat you on the face. Or bite you. A lot of the games they like to play involve biting something or clawing something, and that's okay so long as it's a toy. They will sleep with you, face to face or face to butt, and in general, they enjoy being petted and loved on. Will they come when you call? Probably not. Are they available to play with you whenever you want? Only if they are in the mood. You don't wash them, they stay clean by themselves, but they do leave a little or lot of cat hair around the house.
The dog will not clean himself. You have to do it, and if the dog wants up on the furniture or sleeping with you, you have to do it at least once a week. Some dogs are irritating because they're yappy, while some are so lazy they sleep all day. But when you call his name, he will come running, tail wagging. He's always up for a walk or for playtime or dinner, and he cooperates with just about any activity you'll allow. He will leave hair about, like the cat, but he will not walk on your tables or cabinet tops, in general.
Dogs lick and wag and are really really happy to see you. They are very affectionate, but in a generally sloppy way. Some cats are very affectionate, too. They purr and purr when you scratch their backs or their chins. If they lick you, a lot of times it means don't touch me or I'll bite. Withdraw your hand, and everything is cool.
Make a good choice! Maybe spend some time down at the animal shelter and find out how the different animals behave. Whatever you do, DO NOT get a pit bull. A 6yo boy was mauled by the family pet AGAIN here in Texas last week. There are lots of pets that are more family-oriented.

Cats, because they clean themselves, and you don't have to get up to let them outside every 10 minutes because they have to go to the bathroom. You also don't have to put their food out for them a couple times a day, because like dogs they will eat themselves to death. My cats just eat when they're hungry. You don't have to walk your cat.
I also love hamsters. They're adorable, but they will poop in your hand. Hamsters are great because they die in 6 months, so if you're sick of it, there isn't that much time you're stuck with a hamster. You can always get another. It's fun to get them interesting tanks and tubes and toys to play with.
Dogs are good if you have the energy, because they are the MOST work. Sure dogs are great, but I personally don't like catering to my pet the entire day. Dogs live for a long time, so once you decide to get a cute little puppy, you have a dog now.

Cats. They are very clean and quiet, depending on the breed. They can be a little snotty, but they live a long time and make great companions if you take care of them and treat them right. You don't have to bathe them a lot, feed them twice a day, and be sure to clean the litterbox daily.
Best of luck choosing!

Definetly dogs. They are great and loyal companions, easy to train, learn tricks, fun, caring, they never judge you, come in all shapes and sizes, and are a great comfort and someone to talk to when you get lonely. But they are also hard work and can be expensive.
Cats are cuddly, sweet, passionate, easy to take care of, but they can be boring at times.
Hamsters are cute, easy to care for, don't cost alot, and they are great pet for a child's first pet. But they sleep all day and are only active at night, and they can bite.

Dogs, well I used to have a hamster to tell you when you want to play they are asleep and they are boring! But easy to care for but dogs are social you cant just leave it alone they would be your companion for about 17 years or so. But dogs are good.
