If you do not vote, then your lack of vote will ensure someone gets elected, not necessarily who you want.
You really earn the right to gripe, when you have voted and was not the cause of the election going the way you did not want it to.
Please vote or KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.
This is my help from Washington, D.C. USA.

You didn't state why you would never vote again. I will vote to the end, that is one of my free right as an American. I did question the vote counting in Florida. And I don't like the elector votes either. but I'm not running the country either.
I want to get something out of this free society. and i save my pennies twenty five pennies make a quarter. I started a piggy bank savings when I was small. I been saving ever since, I learned from that little piggie.
I have doubts on a lot of things, If everyone didn't vote then we wouldn't have a system. We have got to keep pushing ford ward.
If you don't go try, then that is your fault. If you want to change things we all have to head to congress. Get some of the laws changed. It is hard work to make changes, but if we all stick together it can be done.

Yes votes do count!
It is when they are stolen. Is when they do not.
Gore gave up, when he should have pressed on.
Under every, EVERY scenario in florida. When all the votes were counted he won! (don't let the righties, tell you any different)
I once ran a city council campaign, and my candidate lost by 10 votes (9 in a recount). Two of his own brothers didn't bother to vote.
So we must vote in large numbers so this type of thing will never happen again.
It is much harder to steal an election with millions of votes, compared to a few thousand.

You must stand up and be counted . It's gets harder to stay stronger as we get older.
If you do not register a vote it can't be counted. Yes, in Florida they tried again and more important got caught cheating and trying to invalidate your vote.
They would not be caught if people were not watching. WE MUST AS CITIZENS BE WATCHFUL. Keep their dishonesty under check.
Please , you do , have an obligation , to continue to vote and be watchful. You select the best candidate of the choices.
As a manager in a business, you may not always have the best applicants you would like. You must make decisions to staff your business and get the best candidate you can with the money you can offer. WHEN THE CANDIDATE DOES NOT PERFORM, YOU MUST ASK WHY AND YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO FIRE THEM IF YOU CANT CONTROL OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM.
We are falling down on our duties to manage this country.
People must get more active and make their government accountable. Young people have a very hard job ahead. We must model to them . A lot of blood was lost for the right to a vote and be counted. A lot more blood will be lost , if the right is no longer there.

It's true that because we only vote for electors it doesn't really matter who you vote for, although there is usually only one faithless elector per election.
And if you are one of those people who uses the "how can my 1 little vote change the outcome" consider that in Florida in 2000, over 1 million people didn't vote and if just 538 of those had gone to the polls and voted for Gore, the election would have changed. Wanna bet that at least 538 of those 1 million believed their vote couldn't change anything, but would have voted for Gore if they had voted?
If just 2 classes of high school seniors had all gone to vote, the election could have ended differently.
and by the way, to whoever said it, Illinois hasn't been a battleground state for a while.

The popular vote count tips the entire electoral bucket of a votes for a state. Your vote is very important.
Remember, Gore lost by less than 1,000 popular votes, which tipped the entire bucket of Florida's electoral count to Bush.

Yes I vote early and often every chance I get. Take a look at Tancredo. He at least is a real person, not a media fabrication
If you don't vote you are casting 1/2 vote each for the two top runners anyway

No it doesn't count unless you live in a battle ground state like Illinois or Pennsylvania. I live in New York and I know it sucks to be a republican in that states because your states election has already been decided, same goes for a democrat in Texas or any non democrat or republican. I think it is time to get rid of the electoral college or at least allow states to split up their vote to give some sort of representation to how the voters in that state voted. Like if NH has 3 votes and Democrates represented close to 33% of the vote they get one of those three votes and the republicans get the other two.

It depends, do I live in Florida and is Kathryn Harris still the secretary of state for Florida. If both answers were yes, then no I would not think my vote would count.

Every vote does count.
Even when the Dems try to steal elections, and fail miserably, your vote still does count.
But go ahead and refrain from voting. You don't sound like you are informed enough to make intelligent voting decisions anyways.
