Let's do one to see the method, okay?

12/sqrt(30)
30 = 2 x 3 x 5 ... no square factors, no joy there

So, let's multiply top and bottom by sqrt(30). We get

12*sqrt(30)/30

Which, when simplified, is

2*sqrt(30)/5

See the method?

12/√5= (12√5)/5

30/√5 = (30√5)/5 = 6√5

12/√30 = 12√(30) /30 = (2√(30))/5

13/√40 = (13√(40))/40

√5/7 = √5/√7 = √(35)/7

15/√12 = 15√(12)/12 = 30√(3)/12 = 5√(3)/2
