Normally he's "outgoing" or can talk to people...not too "out there" but is cool and gets along with everyone...but when it comes to a certain girl...special girl..

-he gets MORE quiet and awkward than usual...
- we haven't seen each other in months and he just seems more shy
- when i first met him he was so quiet but through the years he opened up eventually...he also started with the text and then moved up to calling me
- now since it's been a while since we seen or talk, he won't call...but if I call and make a first move, he'll "respond" somehow and text back...

what do you think?

we've been good friends for years and from what people said, he's always liked me since then i never knew..i just fell for him this year and i gave him his first kiss but WE decided to br friends because the timing wasn't right...after that, he lost someone close to him and he pushed me away...it got worse when there were rumors about us...but we're okay now and just started to RECONNECT now...

To him, you're the "girl that's too good to be true."
He's confident and outgoing to girls that he doesn't care about too much. Because of that, those girls were easy for him to get in bed.
He's being too cautious, like I used to be. The only two girls that I would've married were the only two that have ever dumped me. The number of women I've had sex with are in the double digits. I treat them like dirt, they won't go away.
The two that dumped me? One dumped me 12 years ago, she's 30 now. The other dumped me 8 years ago, she's 26. Neither are married to this day. They've already had their loser boyfriends, so they can't get played anymore. Few guys have my credentials, so they don't measure up.
Making matters worse, when both of these girls tried to get back with me a few years later, I treated them like trash. It was hard for me to get rid of them.
When you dump him (I already know you eventually will), he'll act that shy way to his next "special girl."
When that happens to him again, he'll grow up. He needs to develop that armor.
You should find a guy that already has it.
