Being rich isn't the issue....The POWER that you have to manipulate others is the problem.

Many lotto winners find that they have the power to buy and quickly squander it. Then they are poor again. Then the blame game starts....

What if you just use the riches to benefit mankind instead of EXPLOITING it? What if you are HUMBLED instead of ARROGANT about displaying wealth?

Sam Walton started out as HUMBLE, but as soon as he died, the OTHER people literally walked over his grave to pervert his dream of " Made in the USA "....and now we have Mall-Wart.

Same thing with Walt Disney...He had a dream...And it was perverted by Eisner and his crowd....And we have all sorts of perversion by the M$M ( main Stream media ) today

So I claim that POWER is the issue....And the Love of Money is the root of all evil.....

Yes. Surveys of lottery winners seem to reveal that most winners have spent most of their winnings and are unhappy and generally worse off.

More money and more material things does not make you happy or a better person. In order for a person to mature, grow, and shed the inborn egocentricity is to face adversities and challenges. Work is essential for character development.

I'd hate to live in the world that Paris Hilton and others have endured.

Your question only makes sense to someone who has been born and raised into a materialistic and overconsuming world. My preference is a spiritual world.

Nothing wrong at all. You could give £1000 to 1000 people and 999 of them would all be broke within a short time but one would turn it into £10,000 in a very short time.If one repeated the game with the same people the final result would be the same.

You know there are good and bad really rich people. Bill Gates and his wife seem great people. But a lot of celebrities are really very foolish. And really rich arms manufacturers are bad (you make money off of killing you are bad)

Then there's Oprah who I used to like but she's so much of a braggart with her money. Really we have to be taken on tours of her philanthropy in Africa and our little tour makes her more money (by my estimates) then she spent on her 'good deed'. Is this philanthropy?

Also, all these give aways to screaming audiences. What's this about?

You know, I would hope, that if I were that rich and wanted, still, to keep my TV show I would donate all my 'earnings' to good causes.

Even so, I think there should be limits on how much money one can horde.

Nothing.Unless you're riches are ill gotten. Then they will become the rottenness of your bones. Otherwise, not a thing wrong with it.

There is nothing wrong with being rich.
I would of thought you could get very lonely,eg.....if you had the money to get everything and anything you wanted what do you then wish for?
You see it all the time with the celebs losing the plot then ending up in rehab.

Being really rich means you have to hire other workers to do the work you should be able to do for your self. If i have to buy someones labor then maybe i have way too much .
