why does hillary clinton think the U.N. should be more powerful?

The UN is a corrupt organization run by third world tyrrants. UN peace keepers (not led by the US) have just about never been successful in their mission and the organization is a waste of time and money. The senate just approved withholding funds again. Oh and dont forget the food for oil scandal...
The UN goal is to subvert US soveriegnty.

hillary is an airhead if she thinks giving the u.n. more power is the answer to any important national question regarding the U.S. defunding the un would make a lot more sense!

Because Hillary is a Globalist and she hates the Constitution. She would rather that our government be turned over to the most corrupt, openly anti-American organization in the world.

the US likes the UN ..unless the UN acts like it should (independent of US interests) then we want to take our ball and go home, the UN was a tool of US policy until we started to use them against their own interests, We try and build an empire of client states, and we are the one who allows weapons sales to sky rocket in the last 25 years, we lost the moral high ground long ago but since Bush the slide has become a headlong tumble, and we blame the UN for not following us into the chasm.

The UN was made to be a global version of the US and Britian. It just doesn't have the power to cover an entire planet.
So those of you who criticize the UN, It is made in the likeliness of the US and the UK.
Why don't people acknowledge what the UN has done, such as in the Cuban Missile crisis and throughout the cold war.
Its because the UN focuses most of its work on the countries that need it, and the US doesn't follow under that category. So of course, some Americans might think its a waste of money.
By my ratings, I see that history isn't one of the most attended and understood classes. So much for Roosevelt and Churchill.
Oh well.

I think the UN should be shut down. It has become a worthless group that is almost totally supported with money from us.
