No, I've never been in love, but I'm only 14. Only a little lust. I guess I will have to wait...I hope whoever I fall in love with is worth it though.

Pessamist alert-
I don't think love exists between partners... I think it does between parent and child.. but it's a selfish love. A love for the child as the child is theirs, made from them... is part of them.
I think the other 'love' is too. Love is a thing that doesn't truely exist unless its being returned... so, you can't love without getting something in return?!
Now lust? That exists and I have suffered from that many a time. Even if ur walking down a street u can lust for someone... It's a pathetic, common, and dangerous shallow emotion. That get's more people into trouble, than it helps them.
And Love is selfish, and a lie. Nothing more than a thing invented by God to ensure the continuation of the species...
Remind me never to be a marriage councellor. Lol

Im in Love but still Lust for him so dont know yet. Have thought ive been in love before and when the lust ran out the love wasnt there so figured wasnt in love after all.
If that makes any sense at all ...lol

I was madly in love only once, and have never loved like that again. I'm not sure that it's even possible to love like that again. It's only been lust since then. I'd like the perfect combination of love/lust the next time.

I've been in lust. It was great but there was something empty something lacking. Lurrve is a different thing. Thats when you have no doubts about the person you're with and the lust bit is just one part of the whole package, rather than everthing.

Been in lust a few times! Have thought I had been in love with my ex husband but it is only now, with my present hubby of two years, that I know I am truly in love for the first time in my life.

When ISN'T it just lust?... You only realise it's love after about 20 years of marriage when you're still happy, want to be with them and can take anything life chucks at you cos you have each other.

Mmmmm... I guess I´m still not sure about answering that question in an absolute way, cause it would be wrong to me. Anyway, maybe I´ve been in love for periods of time and after that I don´t really feel like I was in love... hehe. I know this is a serious subject, but being in love is something too deep and the important thing is not to confuse love with obsessions. That hurts the one who posseses the feeling.

i'll tell it like it is, with no fancy explanation, having experienced both, you sharp realise what is lust and what is love. your gut instinct tells you that! especially when it comes to decision making. lust will always end in tears, love sticks by you through everything! that's when you know.

Well, with my last bf for 4 years, I thought it was lust, but now since we're just FWB, I know now it was love, and what we have now is LUST.
