On Friday’s "Good Morning America," token conservative reporter John Stossel told portly filmmaker Michael Moore, "Forgive me. More of us look like you" and that obesity explains why Canadians live longer than Americans, not universal health care. Stossel appeared on the morning show to promote his program debunking the myth of "free," government-run health care. His "20/20" special, which will air September 14 on ABC, includes a quarrel with the left-wing director.
Stossel’s appearance on GMA, and his conservative take, also strongly contrasts with the morning show’s own coverage of government controlled health care. In June, Moore appeared on the program to promote "Sicko," his movie bashing the United States system of private care. Back then, GMA co-host Chris Cuomo mildly questioned the filmmaker’s trip to Cuba to lavish praise on the communist country’s health system. After the director noisily objected to this offense, Cuomo backed down, saying, "Look, I like the stunt."

Doubtful. I don't watch very much network TV blabber.
I saw Sicko and think it is a thought provoking movie, but I don't care that much about Moore.
Neither should you.

Why could I watch those 2 clowns? bill Maher would be his general Bush-bashing self collectively as Michael Moore would be plugging his Sicko video. in straightforward terms Moore might provide kudos to Fidel Castro. Moore could be conscious for Cuban citizenship considering looking at his physique, sometime he's going to need all the medical care that Cuba grants.

Thanks for letting me know it's on. I may watch it if I'm home. Though I can usually only handle John Stossel in limited doses, that may be a good interview. I doubt ABC will let him constantly interrupt his subject and try to shout him down the way FOX lets O'Reily and Hannity.

John Stossel is not a conservative reporter at all. He began a liberal and became a libertarian as he experienced the truth of many issues he reported on. You really should read his book... Myths, Lies and down right Stupidity. Its quite eye-opening.
My son asked me if I thought National Healthcare was good. He heard some kids at school saying we needed it. After a firm H--- NO, he asked why not.
He is 15 and dreaming of his first car.
I told him this:
Lets say you have a choice be a private car plan and a national car plan.
Under the private car plan, you have to shop and buy your own car and under the government plan, they give you one for free.
“Wow, sounds great dad, a free car!” he said.
Wait, I said..
Under the private plan, you can have any car you want and when you want it as soon as you pay for it or prove you can make the payments.
Under the national car plan, you have to apply to get on a waiting list. A few months later you may be allowed to get on the waiting list. About a year later you will get a car that the gov’t gives you. The gov’t will pick what kind and color. Options? Forget it. You get what they give you.
“ I think I’ll take the private car plan, dad.” He said.
“Now what do you think about national healthcare?” I asked. He said “H--- NO!”

Yeah I think he has a lot of very interesting things to say even though I don't agree with everything he says. Everyone in Cuba gets treated for free alright but what they don't tell you is that the average Cuban gets below average medical care. Only the rich Cubans get to stay at nice hospitals and get first class medical treatment.

Cuomo and that network have as much backbone as a worm, and I'll be taking a pass on watching a guy with a multi-tiered chin/neck situation bash America.

Hmm, I wasn't planning on it. But if it is with John Stossel to counter balance Moore, I might consider it. Michael Moore is a moron. Thanks for the heads up.

He's not on here, but you seem to be unable to understand that many countries, including Cuba have better heatlth care than the US.
