how to keep sharpie from washing off my shoe?

ok, our school had this concert with this band called say no more, and i got three of their signatures on my shoe. how do i keep it from fading or washing off? it was on the rubber par tof it, BTW! they were airwalks!

stay far away from rain and water and if it's going to rain and you must wear them take them to the place and put them on there.
