i love abercrombie's clothes, are really cute and fit me well (since i am tiny), but i hate how they are so racist! does anyone agree with me?

(p.s. the other day i was in the store and they played this song that said "chinese food makes me sick". im not trying to act all super-sensitive about it, but abercrombie has been SUED for being racist. like the clothes, but not the "brand".)

(p.p.s. please don't put any rude comments. thanks. =])

I do agree. They have been sued for it. Now there's less racism, but I still don't like them. They are overpriced anyway...

Even if the clothes are preppy, they still have to show some variety in the races of the models and employees.

not to be rude, but.. maybe they just dont like Chinese food? its not being racist to not have a taste for something. As for abercrombie and fitch being racist, There are plenty of other great brands out there. Just look around and you'll find things you like.

hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! Chinese food makes me sick too but so does Mexican food. Just because I'm sensitive to this kind of food doesn't mean I am racist. It just means I'm a wussy... besides if i stated that Seafood made me sick would I be racist against mermaids?.... come on seriously there is a line that must be crossed to be called racist and complaining that an ethnic food gives you a tummy ache isn't it.

No i do not think they are racist. Just because they make preppy close doesn't mean anything. I have seen black, chinese, japanese, arabic, and white people were there close. In my town we have places like Kamins and Just casual that clothes tailered for black people but white people were it too so do i think they are racist. NO. its the same aspect. just like FUBU ( For us by us). If what u are saying is true wouldn't they we racist against white, hispanics, chinese, and every other race on the earth other than african americans.

First of all to "Camilleelis" above me, what the hell do you mean,"you and your black"? That sounds really rascist to me, and for the question, that song is not rascist, its just saying the guy dont like chinese food,...so what? And if you like the cloths, forget about being so sensitive about everything, and stop letting every little detail bother you, just get the damn cloths and get out, or better yet order it over the phone, and have them mail it to you, you cant hold a store rascist for a song that came on, thats ubsurd!

I hadn't heard about this or the other accusations and I agree, that's appalling.

But I would never encourage people to show there anyway. Getting brand name for the sake of popularity is a sick joke on the consumer

I understand where your coming from completly:] some of my friends have said that they have done racist things, but they r pretty friendly when i go there and they r very helpful. just a couple of weeks ago i went school shopping there and this really sweet girl helped me pick out like my whole wardrobe. but one day when i went to hollister this gay guy was giving me a really condescending look like ü don't belong here or something so i coughed "fag" lol

lol. that's a song from some boy band in the 90's.
Abercrombie didn't write it or anything....

If anything, you should be complaining about their porno-catalog that 10 year old kids run around with..

If you are really offended by them don't shop there. They were playing that LFO song because they say " I like girls who wear Abercrombie & Fitch"....right before they ***** about chinese food. I'm not saying your overreacting but you have to make little decisions in life, you are only upsetting yourself by shopping there and hating it. Knock it off! :-)
