I see a lot of people on this board asking why people get upset about race questions, or why people are pc. Frequently it appears to me that those most interested in talking about race are people who want to provoke others. Very infrequently do I see a question asked in a serious tone that is answered with real information as opposed to some rant. So why do people insist on talking about it? Is it JUST THAT, another avenue for rants and gripes?

Because half the people in this section are generally curious about other races because they don't have any REAL relations or exposure to other cultures other than what they see on T.V and hear on the radio( which is exaggerated and sensationalized), and the other half are cowards scared to say how they really feel face to face, so they do their best to pi$$ people off by dragging them into their world of hate.
And sadly, these "questions" always get the fastest and most responses.

Because the media continues to make America a race war, and those that are ignorant fall into the medias trap. You know its easier said then done, instead of pointing out the opposite race's flaws. Wouldnt be easier to work with each others flaws?

That flag has 2 very diverse meanings to diverse human beings. Conservatives who reveal it say they gain this in unity with the Founders' thought of Federalism. Democrats who reveal it say they gain this out of white delight. Why do Liberals declare anybody no longer stressful separate criminal training in accordance with race is a racist?

There only asking a q its not being nasty so u are seeing it as calling them i see it has a q if some one said a nasty thing then ur q would be worth 5points but really if u dnt like race qs then dnt read them some race qs are not nasty white black are just the same dnt matter what colour people are still human

Provoking is the main thing in your question. I mean, a lot of people love provoking others in Yahoo Answers.
Even countries do it to each other. It is disgusting. Countries provoking other countries to act in a certain way so that their actions are then "justified" -- look at the middle-east. Plenty of that happening there.

Some just can't see past a colour! bigot behaviour just comes out without them even knowing it! we all humans people of all different cultures are nice,bad,mean,horrible it's not just one set of people with the same qualities!.

God made us in a host of different colours
and I love people of all colour, and when you look in your garden in the summer. You can see how all colours complements each other, it would look rather dull if all the colours were the same.

from what ive seen ethnic minorities are first to play the race card if they dont get what they want even when the situation has nothing to do with race.
