I'm not african american so I can't speak for them. I do feel they went a bit overboard with the accent since it's not til the end of the commercial where you find out what makes them so "happy." Additionally, if they were going this route, you'd think they'd get permission to use the Macfarlane song to make the meaning of this commercial more obvious to the viewer. My family has been to Jamaica and they do in fact seem to present to be very friendly and happy people which may have been the reason for this, but as mentioned before, the use of the other song would've been better and and a little less emphasis on the accent. I don't feel it's racist at all though, accents do not denote race.

Yes, the singer of the song should sue them. Because its making a classic song into a joke. The commercial talks about flat buns, and has white women on it. I wonder why

No, i personally find it quit funny! Others may find it offensive though. Carl's Jr commercials are known not to necessarily sell there burgers but to insted "sell" women. Thats the only part i dislike.

The flat buns commercial is not, although it is meant to be a parody of how rediculous rap music can be.

I saw it last night & I didn't find it offensive....but extremely annoying. I hope I never see it again.
