Okay.. so I know the bottom part of the seat will fold up for more space.. but can the top part of the seat fold down...It has pull straps on it and I think the mannual says it will come down but I can't get it to budge.. I have researched it but still can't find any answers.. does anyone know? I need the top part of the seat to fold down haha..

In the 2005 silverado the rear seat back will not fold down only the bottom part will fold up.The factory changed this in the new 2007 silverado it does fold both ways.

i have a 2004 and the middle seat does not fold down.

you need to pull your front seats forward enough for the bottom part of the rear seat to come up all the way..that should unlock the top part of the rear seat..if the bottom isnt up enough the top stays locked..hope this helps..good luck
