Miss T, this is a flaw in the human make-up. I believe everyone, at sometime or another, has ask themselves this question, and maybe even more than once. It all depends on the situation and the circumstances. I try to do my best to tackle everything that is thrown my way. But, sometimes, even the Mighty Ryder, says "why bother?". It happens. Rock On, Miss T! You are the coolest.

When you are an infant and premature they will often refer to when you should have been born as your "full gestational age". This is to allow these premature infants a grace period with which to reach developmental milestones. For example most babies sit alone at six months. But if an infant was 2 months early then they will not be expected to reach this milestone until 8 months. They are allowed this grace period due to the fact that they were born 2 months early. This really has no bearing pass the first few years of childhood. Your age is measured by your date of birth.

Every few minutes. That feeling is called "apathy", which means accepting failure as the "norm". After a series of disappointments I started expecting the worst. That way if (when) things go wrong...I'm not surprised.. Example: "if you don't give me the best answer, (shrugs) oh well, what can you (I) do?"

All the freagin time. And really the only reason I'm BOTHERING to awnser these questions is because I have nothing better to do and It doesn't require me to move a whole lot.

It happens a lot, but then I think of all the reasons I do have to bother and it makes it worth while. Kind of like counting your blessings. : )

I think that way a lot. It makes matters worse when I feel as if nothing I say or do is good enough for certain people as well.
