I never LIE. Never. But I do tell a good story most of the time. I make up such outragious stories and 80% of the time people believe me. Thats not the same thing as lying. In England they call it 'taking the P1$$ out of someone'>

Never. It's not worth it. It's hard to remember a lie you've once told a person. A truth is easy to remember :) It's hard to regain somebodies trust.

Only when it might hurt someone's feelings.
For example: If someone says, "Does this dress make me look fat?" My friend already weighes over the load limit, so not to hurt her feelings, I say, "No, not really."
I could have been really mean and said, "Oh, hon, did you mean to look like you ate all the food they sent overseas for our troops?"
