What is that Overture call?

You know that overture that you would hear when horse race would stars or and race

It is called "The Call to the Post", and is simply a trumpet fanfare. Indeed that is how I found it in google -- typed in "horse race trumpet fanfare" and Voila!

With a bit more research I can perhaps find out who "wrote" it.

Hmm, I can't recall the last time they started up a horse race with the "William Tell Overture" -- Was the crowd still there after they finished??
