Live in a 5 unit building that has at least 2 section 8, with possilble fraud and a poor prpoerty manager. Manager doesnt want to do anything, took 6 week to get a stove and another for fan above stove. Been there 20 years and trying to get place painted, its like pulling teeth. manager forget who pays the rent

Is your property manager a licensed Real Estate broker or agent? If so, you can report them to the State Real Estate Commission.

I doubt that the property manager is at fault. Most landlords know what is happening, and have the manager on a rather short leach.

You probably have a local landlord/tenant board. You can go there for help. Look in the government section of your phone book.

He can stay if he needs to, that's obtrusive that he does. He nevertheless has to pay lease, the lease does not replace by way of fact he needs to stay there. i'm uncertain why that could additionally be questionable.

if property manager is not the owner, report this clear and obvious NEGLECT to the owner and get his butt fired.
