The info you give doesn't really determine the size tank this works on - the volts/hz only give information about the type of electrical connection it will work with, and all will use the same power supply within the country in which they're sold.

If you know the brand name, or model, this could be of more help. You can also look it up on this link: http://www.thatpetplace.com/ and see if the specifications for the tank size are given. For a 10 gallon, you want a filter that will run 50-100 gallons per hour (5-10 x the tank volume). It's okay to go a little over if your tank is close to being fully stocked, or if you have messy fish, but you don't want to go too far above what's needed, because you'll produce too much current for your fish to swim natually in a small tank.

if your filter gets 475 GPH you have enough filter power to filter a 85gal tank!!!! I have a thitry going on my 20 because your always suppossed to have the next size up and the volt rating is 180 it would help if you said what brand or any other kind of info that could be helpful like what type of filter it is but I would guess it's a power filter capible of filtering 90-100 GPH plenty for a 10 gal

in case you have never saved a marine tank, do exactly no longer circulate there with a 10gal. while you're merely pondering a heater and pH attempt kit, you have no longer have been given the adventure to run a nano marine tank. that's not merely "problematical", it is going to wish on an familiar basis finding out and adjusting of the parameters, and that's no longer merely pH. then you definately finally end up with a tank that would help a million tiny fish and 2 shrimp. no longer attempting to be rude, merely attempting to maintain you from a brilliant form of lifeless fish. So a million - freshwater. 2 - small community fish. Dwarf or sparkling gourami, neon tetras, guppies, platies and so on. 3 - No algae ingesting fish are suitable, yet snails and shrimp are a solid decision. you will want a heater except you carry on with an extremely limited variety of fish. pH is properly correct to the least significant element in fish conserving. confident that's consumer-friendly to degree, and you're able to be able to purchase chemical components to play with the tiers, yet too many novices fuss correct to the pH, attempting to maintain that "suited", while there are extra significant subjects going incorrect. except you have very gentle fish, and understand slightly extra approximately water chemistry, merely depart the pH on my own.
