Good question, I'll give you a STAR....

I have 2 bad experiences....

Anyway mine was a motel. I was there with my boyfriend on a trip. Anyway, you are with your boyfriend so you feel like having a little "session" in the morning. So we were doing it (like 7a.m) and the cleaning lady comes knocking "house keeping!" so we are like "oh we are still in here, come back later", plus we had a do not disturb sign up. And she proceeds to walk in anyway!! We where bare naked on top of the bed!! So she just stands there and we are like "ok, what the heck are you still doing standing there?" She's like "oh sorrrry"....it was soooooo embarrasing!! Not only that, she came back in to clean the room while we were in the shower trying to get ready for the day!! That was uncalled for!!

The second one was on a trip to Cancun Mexico. I had my suitcase searched while we were out for the day and the cleaning people stole all of my jewelry and suveniers I had bought there. I had asked for the key to the safe in our room but it was "conviniently" broken!! Luckily it wasn't a lot that they took from me. but the next day some girls in the room next to us came out crying screaming at the hotel manager cause someone had gotten into her suitcase and taken all her money (which was about $800 dollars and it was her first day there!! That ruined her week for sure!!

It was late at night, the family was driving from the Ozarks back to St. Louis and slipped in this little motel in Rolla Missouri (an engineering college town). There was a little Italian woman, the co-owner, who took my $40, my last $40.
First, the door was stuck and the owner had to come and break into it. The wife and kids sleepily went in and found cigarette butts in the toilet. The beds were half made and the sheets had obviosly had some sort of bodily fluid on them, (yes, that kind of motel...hourly rates). We then could not get out of the door.
I complained at the office and said I wanted my money back. The lady said she would not do that. I insisted. She insisted she would not give it back and called her husband who looked like a has been hit man for the Mafia. He started making threats and called the police. I waited for the cop and he said we could either spend the night or he would run me in for tresspassing and disturbing the peace. The officer was actually very nice. He said there was really nothing I could do but eat the 40 bucks and bring a civil case which would mean I would have to go back to Rolla when my court date came up.
I ate the 40 bucks.

It was actually a motel.

My husband and I adopted our son, as an infant, 12 years ago this coming Sunday (today is his 12th birthday). Often, when adoptioning in the US, you don't get much advance notice. We had two days to get from San Francisco to New Orleans.

It was the week-end of the Auburn vs LSU game. The night we got to Louisiana the only room we could find was the storage room of a Motel 6, it was taken for the next night... That was just funny.

The next night, the first night with our son, the only room available was in a "lovely" place called the White Rose Inn. It was next to a "cocktail lounge". Rooms were rented by the hour, our room was one door down from the "lounge". There were holes in the walls. There were roaches...everywhere. And...the door would not lock!!! We paid three nights in advance before we saw the room. We wondered if it was legal to sleep in a car with an infant in the state of Lousiana...

The next morning my husband demanded a refund, the owners refused, my husband told them that he was sure that American Express would see it his way, especially once they learned the bit about a newborn baby being exposed to such a situation. They decided that my husband had a point. ; )

Happily, most of the Auburn fans returned home that afternoon and we were able to find a decent motel (still no hotels with available rooms in town) until our "proper" accomodations (in a very nice home) were available. LOL

it was the middle of the night and we had been driving for 7 hours
and it was the only hotel with available rooms
it wasnt even a hotel, actually. it was more of a caravan park that had like, cabins
and we rented a cabin o_o i had to share a bed with my dad because there was only a bunk bed and a single and i was the smallest D:
lets just say, he doesn't wear pants when he sleeps Dx
im pretty sure he was wearing underwear then, but i lay crawled up in a ball on my side and didnt sleep at all
but that was partly because there were drunk people outside singing annoying campfire songs -.-
and there was no bathroom or anything. there was a public one that was so dirty and smelly D: and the room was so small, you could barely walk around

*cough* btw, isnt tokio hotel just the best hotel ever? XDD
sorry, i just had to say that lmaooo!!!

omg dont even get me started i was in a hotel and we called ahead for a reservation thingy and we got there and they sed they didnt have any rooms available! so then we had to wait for like 3 hours for a room (this was in the morning) and then we got there and the maids still hadnt cleaned the room so there were dirty towels and the bed wasnt made and everything and then later that night the tub sprung a leak and flooded the bathroom and went down into the room below us and the minifridge was infested with ants :(

When I was about 6 years old I went to Disney Land with my mom and dad. Some lady offed herself if the bathtub and no one cleaned up the blood until I walked in and saw it. Looking back it may be the reason why I have such morbid humor, and that morbid humor is probably why I still laugh about the whole thing.

Once i was staying at a hotel with my mum and right before i went to bed i saw this black thing under the bed and pulled it out it was a lock of long black hair. it was soooo disgusting because it wasn't just some strands of hair it was like someone had cut a huge clump of their hair and to make it worse it was extremely long. and they just left it there! it looked kind of like Angelina Jolie's hair. and the people had told us that they had just cleaned the room and so you would think that they would have saw it i mean it wasn't even under the bed it was like in front of it anybody who was vacuuming would have seen it. that was the last time you ever saw us at that hotel again!♥

We stayed in a hotel where a deaf softball team was staying.
They were all pretty young and in high spirits (possibly just plain high or spirits. LOL)
They kept running up and down the hall, opening and closing doors and talking really loud.
They didn't realize how loud they were.

When me and my family went to Orlando Florida for Disney World. We stayed at this Holiday Inn that looked nothing like the pictures on the internet! It was gross and ugly!! And plus, I got sick at the Magic Kingdom, and we couldn't leave for a while because the stinkin' parade that we already saw was blocking off the streets!!
