It's whatever you want it to be, but I believe for girls, Grace, Marie, Doreen, Imanni, and Anne, Nicole, and Renee are more considered middle names. And for boys, Michael, Anthony, Jerome, Lee, James, are! Good Luck

my mom and dad named me a persian name.
farishtay- angel.
i hate this. the name can be easily pronounced by all people from the middle east (my family and most of my friends), but americans have so much trouble with it!
basically... think wisely about kids names. especially if you're from overseas and u live in america.

Any name is a middle name. So long as it flows well any name will work.
Ex: I believe it was Penn Teller who named one of his kids Moxie Crimefighter.
Its a dumb name, but it makes my point that any name will work as a middle name.

Anything can be a middle name, it's YOUR choice. Just remember that the child has to carry it the rest of their life. If they have to go around pronouncing it and/or spelling it for everyone, they may want to hang you.

Any name at all, but it's common to use the name of someone you know or to use a 'filler name' like Marie and Nicole

it all depends on the first and last name as well.so for instance "Mary Agnes Davis" sounds okay or "James Anthony Petrillo" sounds okay. just put the name together and see if it looks and sounds good all together and be careful of what initials you wind up with.good luck.
