He is a good man. He has done some good things as President: the economy and the war against terrorists. He is not so good on spending and supporting social programs.

I think that President Bush found himself in a difficult situation after the attacks on the WTC, the previous administration had several chances to capture Osama Bin Laden but they were unsuccessful in doing so, seems that the democrats forget this and blame Bush because he hasn't captured him either.
After 9/11 there was overwhelming bipartisan support of the war on terror, even the Iraq war which had authority under UN Resolution 687 and the Iraq Liberation Act that was signed into law by President Clinton Oct. 31, 1998. Almost all of the top democrats gave their own little speeches about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction and how we as a nation could not allow this.
Bush told the American people up front that this would not be a short war that it would linger and that we must be willing to endure.
I think that Bush as done a good job, I have disagreed with some of his policies such as the Immigration Reform Act (Amnesty) and a couple of other issues.
Bush has also been taking heat because of the mortgage industry and people losing their homes, I do not favor a homeowner mortgage bail out, the people that obtained these loans did so on their own, President Bush had nothing to do with their decision not the lenders decision to offer these loans.
To be sure, whomever becomes President in 2009 will face similar challenges, there are no easy answers on terrorism.

I think you have to look at what has occurred during his tenure, and ask yourself why and how has all this stuff happened - a lot of it conveniently to allow him to pass/build on existing laws to reduce citizens rights and afford more power to the authorites, thus controlling more and more what the public can and can't do.
Think of an episode of theSimpsons, where the aliens 'morph' themselves in as Clinton & Dole. It's a two party system, so you have no choice - you are going to get one of the aliens as president. That's the episode speaking, not me.
It is incredible to think that both John Kerry and George Bush are Bonesmen from Yale...I also find it staggering that the chairmen of the 9/11 commission report is George Bush's cousin, Thomas Kean....they share the same grand father.
The question is obviously a loaded one, but it's like asking what do we think of Kermit the Frog, when in fact we should be asking, what do we think of Jim Henson...
As per Kermit, George W is merely a puppet....only if you choose to look can you see the strings being pulled.

I don't believe a word that comes from his mouth. He spoke yesterday and most of what he said is not true. He said that citizens of Baghdad can now lead ordinary lives. The truth is, according to various reports, Baghdad citizens live in segregated compounds, fear leaving their homes, have no refrigeration, two hours of electrcity daily, if they are lucky, yet fear joining the mile-long lines for gas for their generators, and are so afraid of Militias they are prisoners in their homes. They cannot claim their dead, because they fear leaving their neighborhoods, and unclaimed bodies are buried by volunteers, two to a grave. They fear the Iraqi Police, because most of them are either Militia Members or criminals. Several million Iraqi have fled the country, yet there are Elderly with no caregivers, orphans with no family left, etc. Some ordinary lives!
He also says that the Iraqi are coming together to work toward their new Democracy, or words to this effect. The truth is, the oil agreement has failed, the government has not acted to stem the sectarian conflict, and the government, mostly Shia, is not trusted by the people.
Today, it was announced that some 7,000 troops will be coming home. The truth is, according to some veterans, these troops are scheduled to come home anyway, on rotation, and other troops will be sent to Iraq in their place.
This President continues to operate under the assumption that the Americans listening to him are stupid, and that they will believe every lie he tells. Fortunately, we have other avenues of information, and can decide for ourselves.

Honestly I think he is wierd. Then again I think that about anyone that can't speak properly.
I am pissed at President Bush for several reason.
#1) Government spending is way out of control
#2) He didnt allow the military to win in Iraq when they had the chance
#3) We should have begun the switch away from oil already.

I think he is a treasonous slime. Look at the SPP and the way that they have created the different levels of Government for the North American Union, and superseding our Supreme Court. Don't believe me do a search about the SPP.GOV, the EU and also go to Judicial Watch who have the actual government documents which PROVE what I am saying as true.

I think he's the worst president ever, and I voted for his father. We went to war in Iraq for no legitimate cause, Going to Afghanistan was a completely different matter. We should have gone after bin Laden, but if Saddam Hussein was still in Iraq that country would still be more stable than it will be for years to come.

I pay attention to what happens in the Judicial and Legislative branches more than the Executive anyway.

I supported him, but can't wait till he is gone. There wasn't any good candidates during the his elections. Gore was just crazy, Kerry the dems jumped on his bandwagon two soon.
With Bush you do know where he stands. The others will tell you one thing and totally support the opposite.
