I am thinking about moving to Mesquite NV and wanted to get any feed back about the town. How is the job market? How is the housing or rental? I am planning to visit in October, but I wanted to get more info before I go too.

I have lived in Phoenix before and know about the heat. That isn't an issue for me. I like the heat!! :)

I have driven though and stayed there a couple of times. As you know it's really hot there, but no hitter than Phoenix. They have some cute little casinos. Thats really all I know... SORRY

wow, there isn't too much to Mesquite! A lot of retirees. Why Mesquite? There are an awful lot of great small towns in this beautiful country!

If you are thinking about moving there, visit between mid July and Sept. so you have a realistic picture of what you are getting yourself into. 128 degrees is really hot.
