that there are front end and steering problems in the older models? Anyone here have one and know anything about any common mechanical issues. The car we are purchasing has 33K on it. Its an SE model with 2.7 litre engine. Thanks! Have a great day!

you have heard right it seems that all most every one i see at work needs inner tie-rod bushings ... they use rubber bushings instead of a steel ball a socket and all so take a look at the resale value after a few years..

Timing belts tend to break on them at around 66,000 miles and ruins the engines.

They are like many other cars as far as general maintenance though as far as I know.

i used to have an 04 and it would heat up after 40k. just be very careful and be sure to check the oil and water like every four days just to be sure. bye
