they refuse to compromise, and no matter what the president says weather it's bringing home some troops they are going to complain like they did last night.

Is there any other way to please them, were it's no there way or the highway?

When have the gone over the line, or is there a line to them?
If there is no line isn't that a bit exreme?

sorry about all the questions, just wondering.

No, to the Democrats "compromise" is a one-way street, with the rest of us giving something up to them.

For example, gun control. When was the last time Democrats gave ground on gun rights? They talk "compromise", but it is always sacrifice of freedoms on the part of law-abiding Americans.

The Republicans are not perfect, and I disagree with them on many, many issues, but the Democrats are weasels and demagoges, not fit for public office. In fact, a lot of them probably belong in jail.

I have to tell you, the Democrats are all compromisers. They get into the majority, and they do nothing but back all of Bush's plans. You're deluding yourself if you think the Democratic Congress isn't a bunch of compromisers.

A great deal of democrat politicians also will compromise to keep some troops in Iraq, even if Clinton or Obama is the next president.

Democrats are not protesting the troop withdrawal. The fact is that every government report and even General Petraeus's commanding officer agree the surge did NOT work. Petraues made a report back in 2004 that Iraq was on the road to stability in a short time.
And the troop withdrawals Bush has promised are ones that he would have to do anyway, those soldiers have finished their tour of duty. This time next year, there could still be more troops in Iraq under the current plan. That's why people concerned about the country are upset with Bush's speech.

You are so wrong I don't know where to start. COMPROMISE? It's been my way or the highway from this moron from day one! And now you say he's bringing the troops home??? Ok....here's the facts. He asked for 30,000 troops for a 3 or 4 month surge. It's been more than that already, there are 10,000 MORE troops than that brought in already, and in his speech, he says 30,000 of those troops, that were only supposed to be there for 3 or 4 months MIGHT come home NEXT SUMMER if things get better. HE'S NOT ADVOCATING BRINGING THE TROOOPS HOME!!!!! Wake up and realize he's simply postponing the inevitable until the next president is in office TO CLEAN UP HIS MESS!!!! All the while 18, 19 and 20 year old men and women are dying and being maimed in this madman's war of choice! I hope he burns in hell.

If Democrats have been hostile to Civil Rights, then it fairly is not likely that almost each minority might help them. in reality that on the presidential point, Democrats have led the way in view that a minimum of the early twentieth century. FDR allowed blacks in the protection rigidity, Truman desegregated the protection rigidity, JFK/LBJ presented Civil Rights and balloting rights law, and Democrats in the present day are on the vanguard of gay rights. the place you're at a loss for words is by using the Dixiecrats. those racist Democrats have been wooed and courted by using Republicans commencing with Nixon, yet particularly with Ronald Reagan, who famously released his presidential marketing campaign in Philadelphia, MS, regular basically as a place the place 3 civil rights workers have been murdered, and there he spoke approximately states rights, which grew to become right into a code observe for segregation. The Republicans efficiently attracted the racists into their ranks, and now the Democratic party looks to have a lock on very nearly all minorities. regardless of each little thing, minorities realize it fairly is the federal government, no longer the state governments, that have risk-free their rights. Your revisionist historic previous might desire to embarrass you. in case you knew something approximately historic previous, you will possibly understand that blacks have been Republicans early on because of the fact whites in the south have been Democrats and those Democrats have been racist. yet, it fairly is better than forty years because of the fact the brave JFK/LBJ administrations all yet threw out their trash and the Republicans lapped it up. in reality the Republican party is the white party, and it fairly is applicants, like Rand Paul, choose to legalize racism (by using allowing companies to discriminate), oppose gay equality, shrink courses that helped conquer the legacy of racial discrimination, hostile rules to guard a woman's perfect over her very own physique, hostile rules to guard women folk from some varieties of discrimination, etc. Why do you think of you realize extra approximately racism than the sufferers of racism, who by using an exceedingly great margin help Democrats? by using cherry-determining on historic previous and finding back to an era whilst the Republicans had of venture to be a mutlicultural party, you're fooling no person, yet rather exposing your individual lack of understanding, an lack of understanding it fairly is destroying (thank God) the Republican party.

they like to complain and gripe without putting forth any real solutions other than cut and run. get out and let the real blood bath begin on the people they are whining about dying now. the numbers would increase a thousand fold when we do leave and what will they say then?

it is easy to criticize but hard to find viable solutions. war is nasty and no one escapes unscathed. we will be fighting the terrorist long after we leave Iraq for that is not their cause, world domination is and they won't give that up easily.

Do you personally know any Democrats (I doubt it). If you do, do they seem like people who can never compromise? Together with one, try to decide which movie to go to, or which foot long sub to share at Subway - you'll see they're excellent compromisers, while at the same time making a careful and considerate argument as to their opinions (PS: Meatball with cheese is best).

As long as you keep confusing them with facts and logic, they will continue with their shrill, whining diatribe, false accusations and general nastiness. Their way is the only way, in their minds. The rest of us are too stupid to even consider, except as a source for revenue through taxes.

The intransigence here has always been from Bush. He hasn't given an inch and listens to no one. He knows the Democratic Party doesn't have the votes to override him so he does exactly what he pleases. It's been this way with everything in the administration.

Get your facts straight.
