She was elected to the Senate in 1998 and re-elected in 2004, being the only southern Democrat elected to the Senate that year. After Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, she is the most senior southern Democratic senator and also serves as Democratic Rural Outreach Chair. Would her selection as Vice President help the Democratic Party, espescially in the South and among female voters?

She is certainly arrogant, liberal, and condescending enough to fill the position. It would be great to get her out of Arkansas, and share her no-talent with the rest of the country.
