I don't. But then I've met a few stupid, ignorant republicans that I don't talk to either. :)

SO I am a registered card carrying and I always start with a bi-partisan frame of mind. Ignorance is failure and trouble waiting to happen if you persist with a political strong arm.
Somewhere down the line after years of this stuff you may find some tolerance. Stone walls only create divisions. To open and maybe get something across you have to use diplomacy. Or retreat. I have to at home, my partner and I completely disagree.

What I have learned is I can never impose my views, no matter how motivated & passionate I am , nothing gets done if I screw up the delivery. Accept those who may disagree.
Walk away. Make your point then change the subject. End of the day life is too short to be this involved, to a point that you get angry. WALK AWAY. If you have done your research and they have not, well...

Good luck.

I swear a lot when I talk to Democrats. I mean, why not? They insult the constitution and the government, so why not throw it right back at them. When they start talking to me about ending wars and paying people to just sit around and use drugs, I start telling them what I think, and let the chips (and jaws) drop where they will!

God Bless America!

You talk to them in a very clam, concise, and intelligent manner.

Don't immediately insult them and start the name calling. That will only emboldened them and get them more madder. (Trust me, I've made that mistake before.)

1) The way to corner them is to have good, concise, and valid facts.

2) You must remain calm under pressure.

3) You must not let them irritate you.

4) You must refrain from name calling or over excessive insults. Why? That will only make you look more ignorant and stupid. (I've learned my lesson by doing that too.)

Best of luck to you with regards to communicating to ignorant Dems.

(This approach to talking to Dems will also decrease your risks of receiving violation notices too. In fact, you should never receive any violation notices when use communicate in that manner. If you do, then you know that Dems really aren't for free speech.)

P.S.- calling a Dem an ignorant moron is ok. It's more like an adjective usage, not so much a judgmental usage.

I just listen to them rant. Not really hearing what they say because it's the same words over and over. Then say, "yeah yeah".
Turn around walking away, usually shaking my head in disbelief that an adult can think in such simplistic and juvenile ways.

Close your eyes and try to recall how you sounded when you were in kindergarten. Barely able to speak English beyond gibberish, can't put together an intelligent sentence, correct? Remember?
Well, try talking that baby talk to a Democrat. It's the only language they know.

Tell them there will be a check in the mail if they have a normal conversation with you.

I try to avoid it...if you must, stick to ONE POINT at a time and don't let them side track you with the talking points of the day or the Democrat playbook...just make them admit one thing at a time and soon they will stomp off in a rage.

If you mean convince them of anything that is true, it cannot be done...all you can do is infuriate them with truth.
